Terms
These terms cover your use of My Time Counts. They are written in plain language on purpose. They are not legal advice.
The service
My Time Counts is a time-tracking service operated by Code Repair Shop LLC. It records the time you enter, keeps it in a database file that belongs to your account, and lets you export that file.
Your account
You sign in through a third-party identity provider. You are responsible for the security of that account and of any device tokens you add. Creating an account by signing in means you accept these terms. If you use the service on behalf of an organization, you confirm you may accept these terms for it.
Your data is yours
You own the time entries, projects and other content you put into the
service. We store it in order to run the service for you. You can export the
whole database at any time with /export. We claim no rights over
your content beyond what is needed to operate and support the service.
Acceptable use
Do not use the service to break the law, to attack or overload it, or to store content you have no right to store. Do not attempt to reach another account's data.
Availability and changes
The service is provided as-is, without warranty. It may change, and it may be unavailable. Features may be added or removed. There is no uptime or data-durability guarantee — which is exactly why the export exists: keep your own copy if your records matter to you.
Fees
The web service is free to use today. If paid tiers are introduced, they will be described plainly before anything is charged, and the free web tier will remain.
Ending your use
You may delete your account and data at any time — the Account page does it, without asking us first, and it cannot be undone (see the Privacy page for exactly what is removed). You may also simply stop using the service. We may suspend or end access if these terms are broken.
Liability
To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect or consequential losses, or for lost profits or lost data, arising from your use of the service. Nothing here excludes liability that cannot lawfully be excluded.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Idaho, and disputes are subject to the courts of Idaho.
